Rentaverse began in Burlington, Vermont, USA, where Mike Chase noticed something that didn’t sit right: world-class gear collecting dust in garages while people nearby missed out on incredible adventures. He built a platform to change that…and it worked!
When his brother Chris moved to Queenstown, New Zealand, the same story was playing out on the other side of the world.
Kayaks in garages, mountain bikes gathering dust. One of the world’s great adventure playgrounds, and half the gear needed to explore it locked away in sheds.
The problem Mike had solved in Vermont was alive and well in the Southern Lakes District and Chris knew Queenstown deserved its own version of the fix.
